My work in the leading Russian X-ray company - TSNK-LAB.

I have worked in this company from 2000 until my retirement in 2008. I worked as an economist.

Since its establishment in 2000  TSNK-LAB become the leading Russian X-ray company.

Many prominent scientists worked in this company. Some of them received the State Prize in 2013.

We design, produce and sell high-tech X-ray equipment and systems for various applications:

 Non-destructive testing:

• Portable constant potential X-ray units with normal focal spot sizes (from 1,2x1,2mm) and high voltage up to 300kV
• Microfocus X-ray units with the voltage up to 300kV and focal spot size down to 5microns
• Digital X-ray converters matrix and line type including multi-camera converters
• X-ray cabins with different types of x-ray units, x-ray converters and manipulation systems
• Systems for electronic components control
• Tmography systems and special software
• Circular electron accelerators with the maximum energy up to 10MeV
• Systems for X-ray film digitizing and X-ray image processing and archiving.

Police inspection systems:

• Portable police inspection system “NORKA” with constant potential microfocus x-ray unit with changeable high voltage from 20 to 150kV with dual energy option which  allows to divide organic and non organic objects.  This is only one system in the market that works from -20 ºC to +50  ºC with humidity 90% and have microfocus x-ray unit with the focal spot size down to 30 microns.  System can be easy carried by one person and can work with any type of industrial constant potential x-ray source.
• Office X-ray inspection system “KALAN-2M” with microfocus x-ray source and adjustable high voltage and also with dual energy option
• Post inspection system “XR-PSCAN” with integrated doze detector. This system can detect explosive devices and their parts, narcotics (drugs) and radioactive substances, toxic poweders (dust), for example anthrax, and plastic weapons
• Big cargo inspection systems for tracks and containers inspection

Medical equipment and  other....".

Some prominent scientists from the laboratory staff have been awarded by the State Prize in 2013.

They were awarded for the design and development of new X-ray technology.

This is the picture of Diploma and the Gold Medal.  All  Winner of this award were awarded by this  Diploma and the Gold Medal. 

The Diploma is signed by the Prime Minister of Russian Federation Mr. Dmitry Medvedev.

I was born in 1948 and my father Alexander Timofeev was awarded by the Stalin Prize in 1948.

In 1949  were named the  winners of the 1948 State Stalin Prize for outstanding inventions and radical improvement of the methods for the production work.

I received this Prize together with Vladimir Pestryakov (head of work), Vladimir Kudryavtsev and Vladimir Semenov. We received the State Stalin Prize   for the development and industrial production of new special  radio equipment.

The list of winners was published in the "Pravda" newspaper  on 09 April, 1949.

On 25 August 1948 I  received a special letter delivered by  military courier mail.

Some words from  my Dad memories about this ceremony are below:

"...The award ceremony was scheduled for 4:00 P.M. and  We walked through the beautiful lobby with  copies of famous ancient sculptures. (The picture of the lobby in 2012).

We went up by the main stairs to the  Assembly Hall of the Moscow Institute of Architecture.

I took a seat in the back row next to the wonderful old fireplace.

Some  outstanding scientists, inventors and engineers were awarded  by the State Stalin Prize in 1948 too.They are:

-      Mikhail Kalashnikov.He received the State Stalin Prize for  the creation of AK-47 machine gun;

-    Leonid Kantorovich -mathematician;

-   Artem Mikoyan. He received the State Stalin Prize for aircraft design;

-   Nikolaus Riehl – one of the leaders of the Soviet atomic bomb project;

-    Yakov Zeldovich – for the design of a new  nuclear technology...".
